Vegan Bechamel

Excellent vegan recipe suitable for those with milk intolerances. It will surprise you!


  • 50 gr of extra virgin olive oil

  • 50 grams of flour 0

  • 1/3 liter of vegetable broth

  • 200 ml of rice (or oat) milk

  • salt

  • nutmeg

mix oil and flour in a saucepan over a low flame. When it forms a hazelnut-coloured cream, add the cold liquids (vegetable broth and vegetable milk) and cook, continuing to mix until it becomes a thick cream. Season with salt and grate a little nutmeg

The bechamel is the thing that never seems to thicken ... it mixes, it mixes but it always remains liquid... then by magic, it thickens! So do not despair and be patient: it comes!
